From Pommel Horse Guy to a darts player’s head-scratching stance, 2024 has had some strange and wacky sports moments. The Olympics were the most notable with a sneeze-prone shooter becoming an internet star, “pommel horse guy” winning a bronze medal (and going on “Dancing With the Stars”), Ilona Maher rumbling over Aussies and Steph Curry knocking off France to make the finals. However, there were plenty of other head-scratching micro-moments outside the games as well. Here are the best viral sports moments of 2024.
